There is an old Japanese tradition that 1,000 origami paper cranes will bring good luck. Cranes for Cancer's mission is to provide baskets or vases of 1,000 cranes to cancer patients. The 1000 cranes bring hope and uplift spirits. We
've been doing this for about 18 years, but we NEED HELP! You can help by: 1) Donating money for supplies 2) Donating origami paper 3) FOLDING CRANES.

If you know of a person who is in need of 1,000 origami paper cranes, please send an e-mail and we will send your dear friend or family member 1,000 paper cranes of hope and healing.

Rita's Story

This story just touched our hearts:

Rita from the Kearny Public Library sent us this letter:  We are so grateful and we feel blessed.  We hope your cranes continually lift your spirits and that you have a full recovery!

Great read - thanks for sharing. I've recently discovered the great work that Tony Charalambides and the Listen Fundraising team are doing. They aim to raise £20,000 to help save the Damilola Taylor trust - really hope they do it!
