There is an old Japanese tradition that 1,000 origami paper cranes will bring good luck. Cranes for Cancer's mission is to provide boxes of 1,000 cranes to cancer patients. The 1000 cranes bring hope and uplift spirits. We
've been doing this for many years, but we NEED HELP!

If you know of a person who is in need of 1,000 origami paper cranes, please send an e-mail with a name and mailing address, and we will send your dear friend or family member 1,000 paper cranes of hope and healing.

All the way from the UK...

Three boxes of cranes, each with a caring note, came this week.  The note says, "Please find included approximately 518 origami cranes from the volunteering department at the University of Birmingham, UK.  We hope they help.  Please keep doing the amazing work you do!"

At Cranes for Cancer, we are so proud of the work our volunteers do to make cranes for people in need.  Thank you volunteers in Birmingham!
