There is an old Japanese tradition that 1,000 origami paper cranes will bring good luck. Cranes for Cancer's mission is to provide baskets or vases of 1,000 cranes to cancer patients. The 1000 cranes bring hope and uplift spirits. We
've been doing this for about 18 years, but we NEED HELP! You can help by: 1) Donating money for supplies 2) Donating origami paper 3) FOLDING CRANES.

If you know of a person who is in need of 1,000 origami paper cranes, please send an e-mail and we will send your dear friend or family member 1,000 paper cranes of hope and healing.

From Our Home to Yours...

One giant 'THANK YOU' to Jair Bacay for these sweet cranes and the sweet note attached.
You've certainly brought some joy to our project! Now we forward it on to those who need it most.
"Dear Cranes for Cancer,

I have been meaning to send these for some time now, but decided yo see how many more I could fold before sending them to you.
I want to also thank you for doing what you are doing with this project of sending cranes to those that need hope.  It is a beautiful gesture.
I will leave these little cranes to you and hope they will give some much needed joy and peace to those that need it.
All the best to you,
Jair"
