There is an old Japanese tradition that 1,000 origami paper cranes will bring good luck, including good health. Our goal is to provide boxes of 1,000 cranes to cancer patients and anyone with serious physical or mental health needs. The 1,000 cranes bring hope and uplift spirits. We've been doing this for many years, but we need help in making cranes.
AND...if you know of a person who would benefit from receiving a GIFT of 1,000 origami paper cranes, please send an e-mail with a name and mailing address, and we will send your dear friend or family member 1,000 paper cranes of hope and healing.

Dear Karen and all who donate by folding lovely cranes to Cranes for Cancer. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I personally want to say "thank you" on behalf of the families of Dezare and Sarah (2 recent recipients) who I personally nominated. Both ... young women under the age of 40 and breast cancer warriors. Your cranes have brought much joy, comfort and peace. Living in the world of cancer can be very "dark"... opening a box of beautiful, colorful cranes " The blessing of 1,000 cranes" brings love, light , color and joy during that unimaginable time. And also a sense of "peace" and "hope". Thank you and please... continue to fold and contribute to Cranes for Cancer.
