It’s HOLIDAY SEASON and we won’t be able to accept cranes until January. Thanks!

There is an old Japanese tradition that 1,000 origami paper cranes will bring good luck, including good health. Our goal is to provide boxes of 1,000 cranes to cancer patients and anyone with serious physical or mental health needs. The 1,000 cranes bring hope and uplift spirits. We've been doing this for many years, but we need help in making cranes.

AND...if you know of a person who would benefit from receiving a GIFT of 1,000 origami paper cranes, please send an e-mail with a name and mailing address, and we will send your dear friend or family member 1,000 paper cranes of hope and healing.

DONATE: There is no charge or any fees, although we now accept donations through PayPal or Zelle at kdgrinfeld@gmail.com. Thank You!

Audrey’s cranes “take flight”...

As an update to previous posts, Cranes for Cancer supported Audrey of San Antonio, Texas during her courageous battle with breast cancer. Although Audrey passed away in January, many of the 1,000 cranes she received were given to friends and family during her celebration of life ceremony to share their beauty, friendship and peace. Her friends have continued to spread the inspiring love of the cranes, gifting the remaining cranes to a charity dinner organized by The Overcomers in San Antonio, recognizing medical professionals for their tireless work in the fight against breast cancer. The cranes "took flight” during the gala as table decorations and parting gifts (basket) for all those in attendance---honoring Audrey’s memory and sharing the dedication of the Cranes for Cancer community. Our thanks to Paula for sharing this update and for her personal commitment to bringing the inspiration, the hope and the good fortune of 1,000 origami cranes to individuals in need and to the community at large.
