It’s HOLIDAY SEASON and we won’t be able to accept cranes until January. Thanks!

There is an old Japanese tradition that 1,000 origami paper cranes will bring good luck, including good health. Our goal is to provide boxes of 1,000 cranes to cancer patients and anyone with serious physical or mental health needs. The 1,000 cranes bring hope and uplift spirits. We've been doing this for many years, but we need help in making cranes.

AND...if you know of a person who would benefit from receiving a GIFT of 1,000 origami paper cranes, please send an e-mail with a name and mailing address, and we will send your dear friend or family member 1,000 paper cranes of hope and healing.

DONATE: There is no charge or any fees, although we now accept donations through PayPal or Zelle at kdgrinfeld@gmail.com. Thank You!

Honoring her memory...

Using many of the generous contributions we have received, Cranes for Cancer sent strings of cranes and loose cranes (totaling 1,000) to the very talented and compassionate Paula L. in Texas. With help from her fellow volunteer team members of Heroes n MOre,  Paula created this amazingly beautiful mobile (shown), later working with 4th grade students to add hearts and messages of hope and love for their special teacher, Ms. Tori.   Gold cranes were placed in an accompanying basket.  We are saddened to report that Ms. Tori, age 32, passed away in May from a rare type of cancer, and we honor her memory here.

As Paula wrote, “the cranes have brought comfort and so much hope to many. And they have made a difference in the lives of young children just learning what it is like to lose someone to cancer.”

Thank you to all our donors, and to Paula for her friendship, caring commitment and good work.
